What helped the most when diagnosed with brain injury as a baby

Being aware enough that just because a doctor/specialist said ‘nothing could be done’ it juts meant nothing MEDICAL could be done.

My ability to keep on going, with help from friends and volunteers, my own children and my irrepressible spirit.

Being able to breastfeed even when she appeared to be dying in isolation in intensive care.

Finding the neurological rehabilitation programme and starting it as soon as we could (3 months).

NEVER giving up.
